The following quote is more authentically Scottish than anything Alex Salmond has come out with, possibly ever. From the Dundee Courier, in an article on a Facebook troll, who has just been released from jail:
“McInroy claimed that he genuinely thought the sheriff who had sentenced him was called Sheriff Mongol.
He claimed that only when he Googled him yesterday did he realise that the sheriff was actually Sheriff Mungo. “It was a genuine mistake on my part” he said.”
You know how it is, anyone can make a mistake.
