Reading a recent Spectator, I came across the following extraordinary claim in the Diary written by the in vogue David Brooks of the New York Times, which is not quite as good as the New York Post. Here it is:
“…when I got home I had a call from Gordon Brown to talk about the way he is merging cognitive research with a new theory of human rights”
Pardon? Broon is merging cognitive research with a new theory of human rights? Of course he is.
What’s wrong with the “old” theory? Is this why he can’t be bothered with his day job?
You have to feel for Brooks. That must have been a hell of a phone call.
