Ed Balls doesn’t improve with time. After spending the last week testing the water for repudiating his own and Gordon’s demented, damaging and utterly self-centred economic policies, he pops up today with this classic:
“I think he’s doing a lot of writing, and thinking and reflecting, and I think he’s looking forward to his children moving back up to Scotland, because they’ve been at school down here,” he said.
“What he’s said to me most is that he looks at what’s happening in the economy in Europe and he’s really worried about it. Typical Gordon, he’s still worrying about jobs and what’s right for the country, rather than particularly worrying about himself.”
That’s right, the most solipsistic, morose and stupid (NB. high IQ is compatible with stupidity) Prime Minister that we have ever suffered is still worrying about jobs and what’s right for the country, rather than particularly worrying about himself
Gordon should probably be worrying over the delightful, if remote, possibility of being arrested for treason.
However, as I too am paid by the taxpayer, I’m thinking about not turning up for work for a couple of months, and “writing” instead.
