Can this really be true? From David Blackburn at the Coffee House, with reference to the Afghan War:
“..Support for the war has drained because it is unclear what Nato hopes to achieve in Afghanistan or what the overall strategy is; yet that is all the West talks about. Poor communication breeds uncertainty, the adjunct of which is defeatism..”
Surely a just war is easier to spot than this implies. Any war that requires Alistair Campbell to explain it better, for us to then support it, is not worth fighting.
